How to not be miserable losing weight.i dont count calories, i find it is what made me so miserable last time, causing my lil recovery journey. i know its hard, but try not to stress over calories so much, give yourself some grace or you will make yourself miserable. prioritize protein. it may not be the most delicious at times, but i promise you that it helps. i rarely think about food, and rarely think about eating because protein keeps me so full. likewise, for this to work, you have to stop planning to eat. dont plan anything, if anything, plan to not eat. only eat when you are physically hungry/ sick. abuse protein to keep you full for longer. To keep your goal attainable, i like to set a gw, that i plan to completely stop at and just maintain. for me its 85, because i know i can maintain at 1200. what keeps me going, is knowing that ill allow myself food once i reach my goal.
How weight loss works (math tw warning)each pound on your body is made up of 3600 calories. for someone of average height, your maintenance is roughly (body weight) x 15. to lose a lb a week, you must be in a deficit of >3600 a week. as you lose weight, this gets harder. my cw is about 98, so 98(15)= 1470(maintenance daily) multiplying this by 7, my weekly allowance is 10,290. anything over and i will gain (though, note that to gain a lb you must be 3600 over maintenance, so please do not stress too hard about your binge or it will only get worse. again, give yourself grace.) so, in order for me to lose a lb a week, i must eat <6,690 in a week, a rough 955 daily. but I want to lose weight faster, so i am going lower to about 600 a day. putting me in a daily deficit of 600 ( 1470-600 is a larger deficit, but I am calculating for my gw!) or a weekly cal deficit of 4200, or, 1.66 lbs a week. hope this makes sense. stay safe.

cut and boil a potato for about 15 minutes (or until tender) remove and shake around until the outside of them are ugly. season heavily no olive oil i use: salt, pepper, paprika.
yogurt bowlngl, this is more a concept, but let me help u on that. yogurt is high protein and delicious, if you are living with your parents- you can easily make this look high calorie by adding things such as various fruits to it. plus, it’s genuinely delicious. banana, pb, if your willing to spare the cals (i am) is just some joy in life. chobani yogurts are great for lunches too as many r 120cal for 12g of protein !
